From Magic Again to Still More Wishes
Will's songs are woven around themes of personal experience, expressed through lyrics drawing upon folklore, mythology and the cycles of nature. The music ranges from ballads built upon delicate melodies to rousing choruses with powerful chord backing. In 2011 Will released an album, Magic Again, featuring nine original songs arranged for full band performance. A five piece group, Stampita, grew from Will calling upon the services of musical friends to complete the project, and the band has gone on to exist in its own right, recording more of Will's songs on two further CDs, Earth (2014) and Ride Upon the Rays (2016). A bonus track, Do You Believe in Faeries? (a popular live song) has been featured on copies of Magic Again since 2013.

In 2018 Will released his CD album, Still More Wishes, as a wholly solo production. Playing all the melody instruments and percussion himself (with the addition of some basslines and drum tracks by recording genius Richard Sparkes), Will found fresh inspiration as a singer-songwriter, performing his songs as a solo busker and wandering minstrel. Beautiful photography for the album was taken by Keith Robins, set in the haunting churchyard of Seavington St. Mary's, and the CD was supplied with a booklet containing the lyrics for each song. Its release saw Will returning to his roots, performing heartfelt songs with emotion, feeling and sensitivity, accompanied by music textured both with power and subtlety.
